Instructions: an interview with a teacher
• Interviewer: yourself
• Interviewee: a real teacher (former teacher of yours, current teacher of yours, mentor at
teaching practice, relative, etc.) or a colleague from class who has been teaching for some time
• Topic: the current state of the education system in CR (any aspect of it)
• Outline: imagine it’s an interview for a magazine/newspaper/teaching journal; it will contain:
headline
one short paragraph introducing the interviewee (2-4 sents)
at least 4 questions
answers (that is the length of the 350-400 words), the style should be neither too
academic nor too infml (i.e. “nevertheless” and “ain’t” would be inappropriate,
contracted forms acceptable)
