Week 1 - Introductions and Theory 22. 2. 2016

This first week is a good opportunity to get to know the people we will be working with and the environment we will be working with, and also a little about the theory of how to go about moderating an online class. So to begin with, you should search on the Internet for any one article that relates to moderating online discussions/classes (especially if it's related to language learning).

After you have found an article online, you should post a brief introduction of yourself (who you are, what you like, why you are taking this class, etc.) and a link to the article and why you have chosen it. You can get 4 points for this activity (2 points for introducing yourself, one point for posting a link to a relevant article, and one point for describing why you think that link is useful and relevant) if it is completed by the end of the week.

It would also be good for you to get familiar with the general requirements for the English Online class, which you can do at your leisure.
