Dear students,
below find activities discussing autism spectrum disorders.
There are three discussion threads, one of which is optional (video) and two recorded tasks.
Apart from that, you can read, listen and practise vocab in the handout below.
You can get into the topic by watching a video of your choice and commenting on it in the discussion forum. Remember to post the link to share with your classmates.
Download the handout and complete the tasks at your own leisure. The discussions and recorded tasks build up on the reading or the listening so it's advisable to complete those first.
Respond to the questions in the forums below. Remember to comment on the views of at least one of your classmates.
Read the text about the ABA programme in your handout (Reading 2) and do the tasks accompanying the text. Then record your answers to the questions below and upload the file/link in the homework vault below (file name: Surname_ABA):
1. Watch the video in your handout (task Listening, p. 6). Complete the exam practice.
2. Record a summary of Adam's experience. Watch the video again if you need to and make your own notes to give you guidance. Once you're happy with your performance, upload it in the homework vault (file name: Surname_Asperger)
