Psychological foundations of inclusive educational space

Introduction

Dear students!
I sincerely invite you to а new subject: "Psychological foundations of an inclusive educational space". You will have an interesting and interactive conversation with a person who creates inclusive space for himself and around him. You will learn how to become successful against all odds! 
I enjoy interpersonal communication with students both in Ukraine and in Europe. Since 2004 I have been working at one of the biggest universities in Ukraine. I am professor, doctor of psychology, Honoured worker of education of Ukraine, a practical psychologist and social activist. I am currently working at the Department of Special and Inclusive Pedagogy, Masaryk University. The brutal war that Russia started against my Ukraine has destroyed many life plans of Ukrainians. But in spite of everything, success and victory await Ukraine and Europe! 
In our course you will have 2 face-to-face and 2 online meetings, self-study, interesting assignments and consultations. I am waiting for you!

 Annotation
The unfavorable trend of the spread of health disorders both in the world and in Ukraine is becoming increasingly important. This necessitates solving the problems of accessibility of inclusive space for people with special needs, because a full life in society for such persons is impossible without obtaining quality education and successful professional self-realization. Teaching children and youth with special needs is carried out using special methods, techniques and in conditions that maximize the acquisition of knowledge and social development. However, there are many problems in the process of special or inclusive education and further employment of young people with special needs. One of these problems is the lack of psychological support and unpreparedness of modern teachers for successful interaction with children and youth with special needs in the educational process.

Tasks for students
1.       Prepare a 1-page review of the integrated concert: "Step into the Future", which can be viewed on the Youtube channel of Yevhenii Klopota:
The concert has 3 parts (total duration 2 hours). This event brought together different people on a big stage regardless of their health disorders. The purpose of the integrated concert is to create a positive image of people with special needs in society, their capabilities and resources. The main principle: All artists perform on an equal footing. When writing a review, you will analyze your impressions, emotions, thoughts on how such integrated events affect the positive image of people with special needs and get in a good mood! (Deadline - March 12)


2. Prepare a 2-pages essay on the topic: "Successful people with special needs". 
You have to find an interesting information about a person with special needs and describe a way to success. Deadline -  April 09)


3. A 2-pages mini-project. Prepare a script for a social advertisement aimed at creating a positive image of people with special needs in society. Choose a topic that interests you and offer your view for solving this problem. This public service announcement can be on social media, the Internet, radio, television, etc. Describe its purpose, content, means and tools to influence the society.  (Deadline -  May 01)

For speech for the colloquium, it is necessary to prepare a presentation based on the results of 1 of these tasks. The colloquium will be on May 02
