Last week we shared our childhood book and discussed the rationale of the activity. We also addressed the role and importance of reading in education. 

This week, we will look at different types of books for young children, with special focus on picture books. For the class, please:

1. Go to the library and choose a picture book in English that you think might be suitable for your class. We have a good stock on the second floor, see Literature for children and young adults. Of course, if you have such books at home or in the school we you work, you can choose there.

2. Bring the book with you and be prepared to share your choice with the others. Also, bring Worksheet 1.
