We are pleased to invite you to participate at the 14th European Rehabilitation and Culture Week (ERCW) for Deafblind people. 2012 marks the 25th anniversary of the FDDB - The Danish Association of the Deafblind. The ERCW is going to take place at Castberggård, Folk High School for the Deaf, in Denmark. We look forward to welcoming you! Program This is the preliminary program. For updates, please check www.cbg.dk. Interesting workshop on haptic communication. Day trip to Århus. We will be visiting the Old Town Museum and doing some shopping in down town Århus - Denmark’s second largest city. A full day’s Wellness at Vejle Fjord Sanatorium. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and take lunch at the old sanatorium Vejle Fjord . Day trip to the North Sea and Mandø. We will be going on a bus ride to the North Sea and experience the marsh lands off the coast of South West Denmark. This may include a tractor-shuttle trip to the tiny island of Mandø. There will also be time to relax at Castberggård, do fitness or go on walking trips in the beautiful fields and woods surrounding Castberg- gård. It will also be possible to go for a swim in the public baths in Horsens. Accommodation The accommodation will mainly be in double rooms, but a few single rooms are available as well. Sanitary facilities are good. The participation fee includes all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Castberggård Østerskovvej 1, Urlev DK-8722 Hedensted Denmark www.cbg.dk Location Castberggård is situated in the serene and idyllic country side in the tiny village of Urlev near Horsens. The former vicarage is surrounded by fields of crop, woods and features a billowing stream at the bottom of our well-kept park. In the garden, the kitchen grows a range of herbs and spices that can be smelled and tasted by the visitors. Participation Fee Participation fee amounts to DKK 3500 (470 EUR) per person in a double room and DKK 4500(605 EUR) per person in a single room. All meals and day trips are included.
