Dear students, Welcome to the course of PJ1A! This is just a brief introductory note and it relates to some practical issues. You've probably realized by now that you will have 1 class with Mrs Oakland and 1 class with myself. Please make sure you choose 1 group with each teacher and sign up! The textbook we will use in both classes is New English File Advanced and you're expected to have your own copy of the Student's book (physical, not downloaded), ideally from week one. You can find detailed information about the course in Interaktivní osnova (here's a link with some guidance: https://is.muni.cz/auth/help/student/elearning or simply: Osobní administrativa → Student → Studijní materiály -> Interaktivni osnovy). And finally, the list of books which follows is for extensive reading activities you'll be doing in my class. We will start in October, so you have enough time to think about which book you'd like (1 title) and get a copy that you'll bring to class every week. (People repeating the subject will choose a different book from the one they had last year, please.) This time any format is acceptable: the book itself, e-book, possibly even photocopies. I'm looking forward to meeting you all soon!
