•What does "professional development„ mean for you?



1. Professional development is
•"A set of activities leading to the improvement of student learning outcomes. It includes self
teacher training, self-study, and sharing of expertise among teachers. It is not the development of
professional skills that lead to the only ideal approach to teaching pre-school children, but to
using a wide range of educational styles and strategies that support the diverse learning styles of
each individual child. "

2. Self-reflection is …
•... an internal process that helps teachers to analyze and evaluate their pedagogical activities,
opinions and attitudes, and to use this assessment to improve their educational work. It is a
prerequisite for the professional growth of teachers and the acceptance of professional and human
responsibility.
