SPp003 Inclusive Education (SG2)

General Information


The aim of the course is to familiarized student with the concept of Inclusive Education from the International Perspective. Within the course, the core themes connected with Inclusive Education will be presented as well as conditions which supporting/hindering the effectivity of Inclusive school Environment. Students are asked to reflect on their own opinion and learn from each other via group and project activities.


Learning outcomes
     -  student will be familirazied with the concept of inclusion and connected concepts
     -  student will get knowledge concerning the inclusive education from the perspective of international research
     -  student will be able to define key aspects affecting the inclusive school environment


Course organization
     - Students will be divided into 3 groups. During the course they will be asked to fullfill 3 group tasks (MindMaps / Presentantions) based on given topics. 
     Odd weeks face-to-face meeting dates:
     8.10.; 5.11.; 19.11; 3.12.

     Even weeks face-to-face meeting dates:
     29.10.; 12.11.; 26.11.; 10.12. 


Course requirements
      - Active Participation on 3 meetings
      - Active preparation of given tasks in group - tasks are described in interactive syllaby of the course. In within the group students are asked to prepared 3 task and present them during meetings in the form of MindMaps/Presentation/Structured information - depend on the group. 

      Facilitator role
         Facilitator is a student who will closely watch the presentation of other group in course and after their presentation ask the question concerning prepared topic. Every student has to become a facilitator. 
         Example: First group is presenting MindMap. From second group one/two students are appointed as facilitators. These students watching closely the presenation of second group and than ask one/two questions concerning presented topic/ preparation of the presentation or group opinion.
