You should not underestimate meeting the pupils with whom you will spend the rest of the school year. Establishing good relationships with your pupils is essential to a successful education. Dedicate enough time to getting to know your pupils thoroughly, set rules for working together, take an interest in their needs, but do not disregard your own as well because if you feel comfortable teaching, your students will feel the same.
