Well formulated aim should meet the following criteria: Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant Time based + student oriented Aims can be: COGNITIVE - knowledge AFFECTIVE - attitudes PSYCHOMOTORIC - skills Examples of cognitive aims and objectives: At the end of the lesson students will be able to use simple past tense sentences with the help of irregular verbs lists to express their past actions / habits in their daily life. The students will be able to differentiate adverbs of frequency and create a daily routine report using adverbs of frequency. The students will be able to listen to the lyrics of the song, fill in the blanks and analyze the song's language (for example the Tropes and figures). At the end of the lesson they will know the vocabulary from the song. The students will be able to create a presentation about travelling plans during summer vacation based on a future tense.
