The course is based on 'Outcomes Advanced Student's Book' coursebook (DELLAR, Hugh and Andrew WALKLEY. Outcomes Advanced Student's Book. Second edition. Andover: National Geographic Learning, 2017. ISBN 9781305651920) - Units 9, 10, 11, 12.

Course Requirements:

1) Continuous Assessment 

• Forums  - at least 8 forum contributions throughout the semester - 150 words each (5%)
• Essay - one forum contribution will be written in the class (5%)
• Presentation - in-class presentation on a given topic; 10 minutes (20%)

• Portfolio - see the instructions below; OR 3 extra forum contributions (10%)
• Portfolio guidelines 2nd year
• Attendance - 80% (you can miss up to three classes without a proper excuse in the IS)

2) Progress Test

• Written test in Week 7 - Units 9 and 10 (10%)

3) Final Test

• Written test - at least 70% to pass; 2 resits (50%); possibly in Week 13

Passmark = 70% of all the requirements together
