Vocabulary pratice: Talking about people
- Study and practise words and expressions (p.8 in Outcomes) to describe the status, jobs and interests of friends and family members .
- Draw a "relationship chart" (mind map) which shows your relationship to the family members with a straight line, a friend with a broken line and another person such as colleague, teacher or neighbour with a dotted line. The shorter the line, the closer the person is to you. Discuss this with your partner, prepare appropriate questions to ask your partner about his/her chart.
Conversation practice: Choose six questions from the previous seminar that you think are good to ask people when you first meet them. Then think of two other questions you could also ask.
Tip for a great dictionary: https://www.urbandictionary.com/
Self - study: See the Grammar reference in Week 1 and study the use of individual grammar rules in practice.
In case you want to improve your writing skills, see the task below and feel free to conduct it.
