Activities with flashcards

  • FC should be in colours (if possible) and in size A5, ideally laminated
  • appropriate amount 6 new vocabularies
    • Kim´s game (children guess which word is missing, exchanged, etc.)
    • Slowly reveal / Flash (quick)
    • FC Duel (two children back to back, when turn to each other have to say quickly opponent´s cards)
    • Magic eyes (t takes cards away, but children still call them out, even they´re not displayed anymore)
    • Lip reading
    • Riddles (describe the fc by using different words)
    • FC groups (each group represents one FC, T says the FC, they have to react)
    • Stay nice and still, don´t wobble (children balancing with FC on their head, when it falls, they have to say the word)
    • Over and under (two teams, passing the card, saying the word each time they pass it, once over head then under their legs)
    • Silly banana (T is mixing cards by saying "Mix, mix, mix it up!", then children say the word, but when there´s a picture of banana, they have to do something they agreed before)
    • Skip on each (two teams, need to get over the row of fcs by saiyng each word, they might skip on each card, or just walk)
    • Target (throughing the slime on the target, then according to the number on tha target they say the word on the according fc)
    • Look opposite way (T present vocabs and aiming the fc some dirrection, children need to look at opposite dirrection.
