Information:
PhDr. Libby Hladik, PhD, OTR, is a clinical occupational therapist and Fulbright Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Research in Inclusive Education. She is spending one year researching cultural community participation among Czech families with children with developmental disabilities.
This interactive workshop will introduce the Allied Health field of clinical occupational therapy (OT) in the United States. We will discuss theories that guide OT interventions to support social participation for children with disabilities in their families, schools, and communities. Case examples will be explored in small groups.
