date: Wed, 13. 11. 2024
time: 18-19:40 (6-7:40p.m.)
room: online on Zoom (link below)

Abstract:
In order to ensure that the positive effects of inclusive education are achieved, it is crucial that teachers have access to evidence-based and easy-to-use practices. The Good Inclusion Game (GIG) has been proven to be an effective intervention in promoting inclusive behaviours between students with and without special educational needs (SEN), according to preliminary research (Dillenburger & Coyle, 2019). The GIG is a classwide intervention which consists of five components: teams, rules, feedback, criteria for reinforcement, and rewards.
This lecture will focus on systematic replications of the initial research while specifically examining the effects of the teams and reinforcement components of the intervention. In addition to presenting empirical findings, we will also discuss anecdotal observations and their implications.
