FASM1 Internship II – 24 Weeks Daily Paper of Internship II - 24 Weeks (pharmacy practice in the 5th year of study) Conditions for passing a course in academic year 2019-2020 Daily Paper of Internship II - 24 Weeks (= six elaborated task) is necessary to work out during your practice in a pharmacy. Elaborated tasks please send in an electronic version by e-mail at least one week before passing a credit test to e-mail adress: mazankovad@vfu.cz Tasks for working out: 1. A list of 30 individually prepared drugs, which you prepared during your pharmacy practice (compounded drugs according to the medical prescription, compounded drugs without the medical prescription) 2. A list of 30 drugs (Rx drugs, OTC drugs, drug substance, herbs) which special conditions for storage (low temperature, dark, special container, …) 3. A list of all Health insurance companies in your country – describe the princeples of drug payment to pharmacies (public insurance, private insurance) 4. Describe principles of drug control in pharmacy in your country – local institution, state institution – Ministry of Health , … 5. Desribe the process of drug dispensation to patient with any Drug-related problem with design of its solution in detail – 10 patients (description of 10 patients-cases) For example:  Appearance of side effect of drug  Drug – drug interaction, drug – herb interaction, Rx drug – OTC drug interaction  Overdose of drug  Inconveniently administration of drug to pediatric patiens, old patient, …  Administration of unappropriate drug to patient with liver illness, kidney illness, heart inadequacy, …  Etc. 6. Desribe the process of drug dispensation to patient with need of any OTC drug or herb supplement with specific health problem in detail – 10 patients (description of 10 patient cases) (describe the whole process of drug selection in detail, describe also non-drug / regimen recommendation for patient) For example:  Influenza and cold  Cough  Pain  Allergy  Gastrointestinal problems – diarrhoeia, constipation  Rheumatic problems  Gynaecological problems  Urinal problems  Prostatic problem  Vein inadequasy, hemmorhoids  Ophtalmological problems  Dermatological problems, rash, eczema  Etc.
