Dear all,

I’m sending you materials for preparing PPS presentations for our seminar in May.

Some are in pdf, some are xero copies. At the very beginning, I would like to apologize for not
quite good quality of materials. If you have any problems with reading them, do not hesitate to
contact me. Do not pay attentions for any underlining or side notes, they come from different
persons who used that copies, so they are not important for you – choose yourself what you consider
important!


Please, plan you presentations for not less than 45 minutes and not more than 1,5 ha.


I prefer English as a language of your presentations, but if you find it too difficult, Czech is
also acceptable – we will find a way to understand each other.


There are 10 topics for our 10 classes – some are for a single speaker, some for two persons.

However, you can divide topics among yourselves according to your wishes – I just expect each
person to speak something and to hear something about each of the proposed topics. The presentation
will be the only basis for giving you a final mark.


You can use graphics or photos that you will find in internet. I know there are plenty of them and
you can use them for educational purposes. Again, if you have any problem with illustrations, send
me an email.


If there is an internet access in the class room (I’m going to check it), you can use animations
from web.


You can also explore internet (e.g. Wikipedia) to find additional information, but be cautious of
mistakes.


I you have real difficulties with preparing PPS presentation, please prepare a paper and some
copies of illustrations.
