Dear students,
wecome to the course Creative Information Work. I will guide you through the complete course. It will take 12 weeks.
There will be every week new module here on the IS system on the Interactive syllabi.
At the end of this course, students should be able to:

define and use methods of information overload

effectively apply principles of brainstormin

prepare mind maps
-
utilize methods of effective reading and creative writing

use tools for information gathering (polling,questionnaire, surveys)

design and prepare catchy presentation
-
interpret elements of verbal and nonverbal communication

etc.
It assigns homeworks with terms of delivery included in particular modules or lectures. There is no test at the end of the course. You must do every homeworks to complete the course.
There is mark *1 (all right) or *0 (something is not ok, correct it). This marks you can find on th IS system -> Student -> Notebook score statistics.
I am a tutor of this course. My name is Dagmar Chytková and I work at Central Library of Faculty of Arts on the 1st floor.
Dagmar Chytková She graduated from the Department of Information and Library Studies and the Department of Czech Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University. She participated in the preparation and tutoring of the course Working with information, and has much experience with e-learning courses. She is preparing a thematic training on the topic of brainstorming in the Central Library of the Faculty of Arts of MU. She considers creative techniques very important and beneficial (not only) to students.
