society? What are the reasons for Socialist orientations of the majority of Russian people?

3. The Russian society in the years of New Economic Politics and the reasons for the liquidation of
NEP.

4. The Russian society in the years of Collectivization and Great Terror (1929-41), attitudes and
values in the society. What are the consequences of Collectivization and Great Terror for Russian
society?

5. What were the attitudes and value orientations in the Russian society in the years of Second
World War (1939-1945)?

6. What were the Russian society and its values in the last years of Stalinist dictatorship
(1945-1953)? What was the main desire of Russian people 1953 – continuation of dictatorship or the
liberation of society and country – different tendencies in the Bolsheviks’ elite and among simple
people?
