Mostly printed compositions preserved. ¨Probably the most remarkable is his Requiem from the collection Sacra et litaniae (Prague 1654). ¨Loutna česká ¨Requiem Pavel Josef Vejvanovský ¨1639-1693. Trumpet player, composer, leader of an ensemble. ¨Born in North Moravia (his father was in bishop´s duties at the Hukvaldy castle, near the village, where Janáček is born 1854). Studied at jesuit gymnasium in Opava. Ca1660-2 became bishop´s trumpeter and later leading person of the music ensemble at the bishop´s residence in Kroměříž.
