10:15 -11:15 Using the canonical literature in the classroom: a demo.

11:30 -13:30 Dear time and lapbooks as learning journals.

Prior to the class, please complete the following tasks:

3. Select and bring a book of fiction in English you have read (and preferably liked) recently. If possible, do NOT tell your colleagues what you are bringing. 

Bring also a printed copy of a page from the book.

Lesson plans and class materials:
