Dear students, you have entered to the course Information Literacy.  This course is e-learning which mean you will have all materails online here. 

We will guide you through the complete course. It will take 12 weeks. There will be every week new module here on the IS system - Interactive syllabi. 

 

At the end of this course, students should be able to:

• define basic concepts of research topics
• determine his/her information needs
• search and select relevant sources of information
• know and use traditional and electronic domain information sources
• effectively use various retrieval tools
• evaluate information
• organize and use information
• understand difference between retrieval tools for electronics information resources
• utilize electronic information services of libraries in study and practice
• work with scholarly papers
• orientate in new internet services
• understand ethical and legal questions concerned with information and information technologies

 

Assessment methods

It assigns homeworks with terms of delivery included in particular modules or lectures. There is no test at the end of the course. You must do every homeworks to complete the course.
