 What is the film's Theme? (What is the film about?)

The movie's theme shows us a slice of life in Israel in the 70's. The movie speaks about six days
of life of  Benny a basketball coach who lives in Tel Aviv. He is married but he cheat his wife
with two girls, he lives in a good house but he want to change it and he have no interest on his
children. He his a man who wants to much and during the film his lucky is going to stop. His wife
will discover his cheating and his best friend will start dating with one of the girl who Benny
cheat his wife. The film make me develop a sense of sorry for Benny and his life that is getting
crush by his action. But this movie show us the real life of that country with its controversial
vision of the society of that time. One particular thing suggest me, Benny is for real in love of
his wife but he want more and this desire at the end will crush his marriage and his friendships.

 The film is focusing on three circles of dramatic conflicts:  A family drama, a friendship drama,
a sport drama. What is the perspective of the narration? Is it one of the character's points of
view? Or an external narrator's perspective? In either case, does one of the character's
perspectives have a dominant presence in the film?

All the film scene are based on Benny, he is the main character of the film and he direct the look
of the audience. In every scene which benny is not there the camera stop moving (when he gets a
shower) and you don't see precisely what happen at that moment or when he follow Yossi to his
"girlfriend" house, that scene use only the point of view of Benny. The narrator voice appear when
the film start and finish, he use the song as a premise of the story.

 What is the function and uniqueness of the baby in the film?

The baby is the emblem of failure of Benny as a father and husband, he forgot him several time
during the film (same for his wife) because he have to take care of his own business. It's an
element of disturb during the film, Benny don't know how to make him stop crying and he keep crying
when Benny and his wife are fighting. But Benny know that the baby means family, in fact his wife
blackmails him several time to keep the baby to her mother and stop their relationship. During the
film Benny is not to much interesting in the baby, at my eyes his not a father.

 What's your impression about the uniqueness and novelty of this film?

This film make me think about of the mean of desire, Benny pretend to be the main figure in his
life, in his wife life, in his best friend life and the main figure of the life of the two girl
which he is cheaingt his wife. He is not happy in any part of the film he is always looking for of
something more, a big new house, a big new gym for his team. I was sure while I was seeing this
film that he will collapse at the right time, a normal person can not live with all this stress.
The director of the film has totally hit the spot of the human being, always stressed looking for
something better something new and sadly never happy with he has.
