                     Soluble molecular heterometallic silicates and phosphites

   

   This lecture will describe our advances in the preparation of soluble molecular silicate and
   phosphite ligands containing aluminum or gallium such as LAl(SH)(μ-O)Si(OH)(O^tBu)[2] (L
   = [HC{C(Me)N(Ar)}[2]]^–, Ar = 2,6-di-^iPr[2]C[6]H[3]), LAl(SH)(μ-O)P(OEt)[2],
   LGa(Cl)(μ-O)Si(OH)-(O^tBu)[2] or LGa(OH)(μ-O)P(OEt)[2]. These metallaligands have
   been successfully used in the preparation of heterobimetallic systems containing Al, Ga, In,
   Li, Ti, Zn (see Figure 1).
