After completing this course you will be able to present and discuss a scientific topic of your field using advanced presentation techniques in a proper academic form and language - all that is the oral part of your second exam in English. You will also be guided to write a proper abstract of your presentation, CV and a cover letter. Face-to-face lessons should give you opportunities to practice argumenting and other language functions, which were taught in lower courses.

Tasks on detailed reading and listening comprehension will train your abilities and I hope you will find them helpful in your exam test. Advanced grammar, especially grammar of scientific texts, will also be revised in the seminars. In case you did not attend the course JAG03/Z03, go through the syllabus with all the links to study materials before you join this course, please. The second exam JA002 covers vocabulary and topics of both semesters! You will find detailed information about the exam in the syllabus of JA002. Note that the exam has its own code.
