Abstract

Case studies of some sample series of archaeological origin are present. Samples of Medieval and
Early Modern skeletal remains were analysed using solution ICP-OES, obsidian samples of geological
and archaeological origin were  analysed using LA-ICP-MS. For effective interpretation of the
results, modern methods of data analysis (including robust and nonparametric techniques) were
employed.
