English for Geographers 02 you will practise academic English on the topics related to geography studies. We will focus on listening, reading, speaking and writing skills. There is no textbook but for each week you will print out handouts. You are expected to bring them to every class and after the class to complete and revise the activities. There will be three credit assignments - written summary of an article, oral summary of an interesting talk from TED, and a team presentation + a poster about a current problem. There will be also a brief test at the end of the semester from what was covered during the lessons.

Attendance: you are supposed not to miss more than two seminars to be able to get your credits for the course. I do not require any absence excuses but make sure your absence management is reasonable so as not to exceed the limit.
