5. classify solids and describe two solids in more details
6. explain the role of measurement in mathematics with the notions of “ratio” and “proportion” and present examples from various areas  
7. explain what a function is, give two examples of functions and describe their graphs
8. choose an area of applied mathematics (e.g. statistics) and describe which types of problems from that area can be solved by mathematical methods
9. present a mathematical problem, e.g. from the area of algebra (matrices, equations,...) sets or geometry, and describe its solution (e.g. a calculation, proof, algorithm, construction …)
10. discuss the notion of infinity, present an example of paradox/problem which involves infinity or infinitesimals
