The 9th week we will continue with applications of ordinary differential equations. In the BG book this corresponds to  the third section of Chapter 8, with title ``Differential equations'',  from the paragraph 8.3.16  to the end of the  paragraph 8.3.22. This part includes the following concepts:

1) Higher order differential equations;

2) Applications of ordinary differential equation in linear algebra and matrix systems;

3) Numerical approach and numerical solutions of ODEs.

Examples and applications related to these notions are described in the corresponding left column of the BG book, and in particular from Section L, titled   ``Higher order differential equations" till  Section N, titled ``Numerical solutions of  differential equations''.
