CONTENT OF THE COURSE:

We will not use a textbook. We have prepared  11 topics which will be available in the information system. We expect you to print them out and bring the printed materials to seminars.

OBJECTIVES

Moving towards B1+ or B2 level skills needed for reading, listening, speaking and writing about geographical topics

ENTRANCE LEVEL B1 
With lower level you may find it too difficult to participate and work reasonably well.
With higher level you may have different expectations, so consider registering for a different course, e.g. Výběrová angličtina JA003, or a course from Autonomous Learning section. See  https://www.cjv.muni.cz/cs/    

2 CREDITS - IF YOU MEET THE REQUIREMENTS:

• Attendance is compulsory. You can miss max two seminars during the whole semester.
• All homework is compulsory. Coming unprepared for the lesson may result in counting an absence for this seminar.
• Mobile devices are allowed in classes only for learning English and searching for relevant information, other uses are unacceptable and may result in expulsion from the course.
• Credit test in Week 13, 60% correctness
