Completing the grammar topics (tenses, questions, irregular verbs, quantifiers & determiners and adjectives) will give you an idea about your confidence in this grammar at the required level. Is it really high - or lower?

By doing the topics How to... you will extend your skills in the target language functions.

It is best to do the topics in the given order because this order is loosely related to the progression of the seminar discussions. But this is not a condition.
