At the end of this lesson, student will be able to:

  1. Define and describe main attributes of cohort studies, their advantages and disadvantages
  2. Define and describe main attributes of case-control studies, their advantages and disadvantages
  3. Understand the following concepts: sample attrition, representativeness, recall bias, selection bias
  4. Understand the difference between relative risk and odds ratio
