I wrote simplified articles that would draw attention to the people that are not in science. The hard part was going from that academic writing to a more engaging style of writing. As a laboratory demonstrator I conducted wet-lab experiments with the students, elucidated scientific concepts, and cultivated a collaborative learning environment.
