Instructions and Grading Policy
Please
carefully review the following information regarding how you can earn points,
pass the course, and achieve your desired grade.
How
to Earn Points
To succeed in this course, you can earn
points through various activities and assessments. The maximum points available
from each category are as follows:
- Activity at Seminars: Up to 12 points
- Your active participation
during seminars will be evaluated and rewarded with points.
- Activity at Lectures: Up to 3 points
- Contributions made during
lectures, such as asking questions or engaging in discussions, will be
recognized.
- Online Tests (ROPOTs): Up to 5 points
- Online tests will assess your understanding of the material covered in lectures and seminars.
- Deadline for inputting your answers is 14.5. 23:59.
- If you forget to complete your ROPOTs on time, you won’t have another chance to redo them. Make sure to finish them before the deadline!
- Mid-term Tests: Two tests, each worth up to 15
points (total 30 points)
- These tests will be conducted during the semester to evaluate your progress.
- 1st test will be during seminar on 26.3.
- 2nd test will be during seminar on 14.5.
- You have one opportunity to retake the mid-term test, regardless of the reason. This retake will be available during the exam period.
- Final Test: Up to 50 points
- The final test will assess your overall comprehension of the course content and contribute significantly to your grade.

How
to Pass the Course
To pass this course, you must meet
the following requirements:
- Attendance: You must attend at least 10 seminars throughout the semester.
- Mid-term Tests Minimum: You must score at least half of the points (15 points) combined on the both mid-term tests.
- Final Test Minimum: You must score at least half
of the points (25 points) on the final test.
- Total Points: You must accumulate a minimum
of 50 points overall from all categories combined.
Grading
Scale
Your final grade will be determined
based on the total number of points you earn during the course:
- Less than 50 points: F (Fail)
- 50 - 59 points: E
- 60 - 69 points: D
- 70 - 79 points: C
- 80 - 89 points: B
- 90 points and above: A

- Attendance and participation
are crucial components of your success. Be proactive and engage actively
in all sessions.
- Missing a seminar or failing to
meet attendance requirements could significantly impact your ability to
pass the course.
- Prepare for the final test thoroughly, as it carries the most weight in determining your overall grade.
