Dear students,
Welcome to the PA093 course. The course is meant to accompany the Computational geometry course, taught by our faculty (MA017 code). Thus, it is advantageous to enroll in this course simultaneously or to have it already passed. However, if it’s not the case, you can still successfully pass this seminar – all required algorithms will be explained in sufficient detail to be reproduced.
The seminar is mostly based on programming tasks and it is taught in a bi-weekly manner. Every second week, we will meet in B311 for the programming session. In the first part, you will get the assignment, with an explanation of the algorithm that you are supposed to implement. Then, you will start with the implementation of that assignment and I will be available for you for questions.
The complexity of the tasks is adequate to be mostly completed within the seminar. If not, please finish the task as homework by the next session. All tasks will be integrated into a common framework so at the end of the course, you will submit the whole framework and I will check all tasks at once. Based on that, you will get your credits.
