We are pleased to invite you to the course The International Perspectives of Media Studies Experts. Its purpose is to offer a platform to international cutting-edge experts in various fields related to media studies.


For fall 2024, we will present you with at least three experts in journalism, media studies, or contextual fields.

  1. Dunja Antunovic What is Equality?: Media Coverage of the Olympic and Paralympic Games 
  2. Nadia Kaneva Ukraine's use of national branding as part of its fight against Russia's invasion 
  3. Noelle Curran (EBU)
  4. Adam Guld: Communication Preferences of Gen Z youngsters – What is the Reason for the Extreme Popularity of Online Influencers,

To pass the class, you must attend the class (attendance is checked) and write an essay on one of the presented topics (Times New Roman, 10000 figures minimum, at least six academic sources).
