Interactive Syllabus

In the lessons, we will work with a textbook Keynote at the Pre-Intermediate level which corresponds to CEFR A2-B1. 

Course requirements (maximum of 80 points)

• Attendance (two unexcused absences are allowed)

• Assignment completion - a letter to a teacher (10p), listening (10p), writing a book review (10p), reading (10p), in-class presentation (10p)

• Vocabulary sheets (write down at least 20 new words after each class - you can make a list, a dictionary, a mind map, etc.) (20p)

• other homework (2 x 5 points)

You mustn’t have 0 points in any of the requirements; otherwise, you get an X!

Exam (maximum of 20 points)

During the exam, we will talk about:

• what activities you did/didn’t enjoy

• what skills you improved and how (Has your self-assessment changed?)

• what methods of learning a language work best for you and why

• what drawbacks you feel in your English skills

• what your next goals are and how you want to achieve them

You need at least 65/100 points to pass.
