This course provides students with a basic understanding of the energy sector's organizational and regulatory framework in the European Union and explores the interactions of EU energy law with other areas of EU law. This course focuses on the governance of the Energy Union, energy market liberalization, the main elements of the way the EU ensures security and reliability of its energy supply, and the EU's effort to decarbonize its energy sector.
