Teaching for combined students takes the form of individual consultations in the Fall 2023 semester. Students contact the subject guarantor at the beginning of the semester and agree on the form of these consultations. The content and dates of assignments and tests are the same for students in the combined form of study as for full-time students.

Lectures and seminars (and tutorials) are designed to complement the required literature. They usually deliberately do not cover the related chapters in the textbook in their full breadth, but go deeper into some topics that the textbook does not cover or covers only marginally. In order to successfully master the subject, knowledge from the compulsory textbook and face-to-face teaching is necessary. Studying the textbook alone is not enough to pass the final test.
Course Completion Requirements
It is possible to get 100 points + 12 bonus points for attendance in the subject. To complete the course, the student must meet the minimum number of points in the exam test and the individual and team task (see below in brackets) and obtain at least 60 points for the entire semester. In addition, MPH_RLIZ students (full-time Human Resource Management) must attend seminars (max. 2 unexcused absences).
Grades: A (90+ points), B(83-89), C(75-82), D(67-74), E(60-66), F(0-59)
For the course MPH_RLIZ (Human Resource Management in full-time form):
For the subject MKH_RLIZ (Human resource management in combined form):
For the subject MPH_PEMA (Personnel management in face-to-face form):
Attendance
For each lecture/seminar/tutorial participation, students get bonus points. Only students who attend the lesson from beginning to end and who devote themselves to the lesson the entire time are entitled to bonus points.
Attendance at lectures is recorded automatically by placing the ISIC on the reader at the classroom entrance. If the student wants to receive points for participation, he must attach his ISIC to the reader before the start or immediately after the end of the lecture. If the student forgets the ISIC or forgets to attach the ISIC, the points will not be awarded retroactively.
a) What are the most important insights you gained during the course (1-4 specific insights)? Why?
b) What else do you need to learn in HRM to be successful as a manager, business owner or HR employee? Why?
c) How do you acquire this knowledge?
Date: 13.12. (submit as an MS Word document in IS)
Page limit: minimum 250 words, maximum 750 words.
In case of late submission, 2 points are deducted for each day started. 0 points will be awarded for reflection that violates the formal requirements (in particular, the text does not answer all the assigned questions/tasks, does not follow the prescribed scope). For reflection, the first submitted version is evaluated - there is no possibility of correction. The main criterion for evaluating the reflection is the depth and concreteness of the answers to the questions asked and the connection of the answers with the topics of the lectures, seminars and in the textbook. Reflections with vague and general answers (e.g. "I learned a lot about human resources management." "I was interested in the topic of employee selection") will be evaluated with a lower number of points. The goal of the task is really reflection, not providing feedback to the teacher. Students should not describe what they liked/disliked, or what should be different in the subject (this is what the subject survey is used for).
MPH_RLIZ and MKH_RLIZ: the assignment applies to both groups (in the case of MKH_RLIZ, students can connect with students from MPH_RLIZ or process the work separately). If something is unclear, contact Tomáš Ondráček.
