Seminar 2

"Seminar task - Good teacher"
Please write an essay on the topic "How do I imagine a good/ideal teacher" (the lenght should be 1–2 pages, use your experience, beliefs, expectations etc.).

Seminar Activity related to the task.

  • 4-5 Groups

  • Mind Mapping a "Good Teacher
  • Create a mind map visualizing the qualities, skills, and behaviors of a "Good Teacher".

What is Mind Mapping? Mind mapping is a visual technique used to organize information. It involves creating a central idea and branching out from it with related concepts. This visual representation helps in brainstorming, problem-solving, and understanding complex topics.

Exercise in a feedback to a creative task, which lacks a "standard of achievement" and thus has no specific criteria for evaluation.

Mind maps were exchanged between groups. Each group was tasked with adding three post-it notes to each received mind map.

After receiving their mind maps back with feedback, author groups were asked to select one post-it note they liked best and one they wanted to respond to.

    Purpose of the activity

  • Encouraging participants to think creatively and generate ideas about a complex topic like "Good Teacher."
  • Fostering a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives could be shared and explored.
  • Encouraging participants to reflect on their own ideas and the feedback they received.
