  • chose an advertisement or a commercial to talk about (cut it out from a magazine, newspaper or just prepare a description of an interesting commercial you have seen) think of the effectiveness of the advertisement and of how it draws attention of the target audience
  • prepare a summary of article of Unit 6
  • do all exercises on page 52 in CB
  • do grammar of gerunds and infinitives
  • do U5 review test

  • read article on page 26 in Workbook
  • prepare a short story that is either amusing/embarrassing/thrilling that happened to you or to someone that you know. To help you structure it well, read the introduction to career skills on page 55 in CB. Rehearse telling the story before you come to the lesson and make sure it does not exceed a time limit of 1and 1/2 minutes
  • revise grammar of gerunds and infinitives
  • do practice exercise on page 53
  • have a look at and read about Toscani advertisements (see the file below)

  • listen to listening ex. 2 in Workbook (page 27) and do exercise 5 from U6 handout (be ready to explain who early adopters, tremors and prosumers are and how they view traditional advertising)
  • read dilemma and decision for Unit 6, underline expressions that you think are important to remember
  • do review 2 on pages in CB 57-58
