Homophones

Just like the word TRAIN can mean different things or LIE can have several meanings, and we talk about homonyms, there are words which sound the same and are called homophones. Compare the pronunciation of WHETHER and WEATHER, or COURT and CAUGHT, they are pronounced identically.
In the attached worksheet have a look at ex. 31 and try to write up all the pairs of homophones (i.e. different spelling but identical pronunciation). Please note that there are odd ones too :-).
