Summer Institute Rome

Introduction

This course will combine asynchronous learning modules and in-person learning at TRC. It will include in-class sessions (with topics on child and adolescent wellbeing, Family and aging services, and substance use disorder) and field trips around Rome. It will also include local experts coming to the class and discussing the various identified class topics. In this course, students will: 


1/ Describe international and interdisciplinary approaches to resolving social issues.


 2/ Differentiate how different countries practice their disciplines.


3/ Design a self-designed project to address a social issue within their communities.
