Public Health I - practice

Week 3 - Epidemiological Studies

Abstract

In this week, we will have a deep look at the field of "epidemiology" and how it evolved. We will learn how clinical epidemiologists work and how they come to define the different diseases including the novel ones. After that, we will explore through the core methodological concepts of both observational and experimental epidemiology. Finally, we will go through the potential errors in epidemiologic studies and how epidemiologists attempt to avoid these errors.
