The aim of this course is to:

• Equip students with in-depth knowledge of sign protection laws and strategies.
• Examine the international and European protection mechanisms for trademarks, business names, and geographical indications.
• Analyze procedural and substantive aspects of sign protection, including licensing and enforcement.
