ISIC (International Student Identity Card) is the only globally recognized proof of student status for high schools, colleges and universities and selected one-year post-secondary fields of study. This card is issued on behalf of the globally run ISIC Association under the auspices of UNESCO. The ISIC University Student Card is a combination of the ISIC Student Card and the University Card as defined by the Higher Education Act.

In addition to recognizing international student status, the ISIC card provides many discounts and benefits worldwide:

• travel discounts (air tickets, bus tickets and train tickets)
• discounts on admission to world-famous cultural and historical monuments
• discounts on admission for entertainment and sport
• discounts for hotel, camp and hostel accommodation
• and more discounts and benefits in shopping, catering and education

Card collection: The ordered and duly paid card can be picked up during the office hours at the Study office of the Faculty of Pharmacy (You can pick up your card only when your payment is processed, it usually takes about 3 business days. You can find out if your payment was properly credited in your orders under the ‘My orders’ in the IS Shopping Centre)

Validity: The card can be purchased only for the selected academic year until the end of the following calendar year at the latest. Validity is therefore always determined at the earliest from September of the selected academic year and lasts until December of the following calendar year – so it is not automatically set for 12 calendar months as it depends on the date of issue.
