The study field of European Studies focuses on political aspects of European integration process, and thus also on further issues connected with the working of the European Union and its role in the area of international relations. Graduates of European Studies can pursue a career in a wide range of fields, particularly work in state administration and in diplomatic service, especially in international organizations and in European Union institutions in particular. Significant opportunities for graduates can be found in political representative offices; in analytical, scientific, or educational employment in think tanks and schools, and universities; at the headquarters of political parties; and in the field of journalism.
