After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:
- clearly and persuasively articulate basic theoretical and methodological knowledge of philosophy, psychology, religious studies, sociology, political science, law, and economics
- explain the relationship between different social science disciplines, including their overlaps into the fields of science and engineering
- reflect assumptions, the nature and value starting-points of different trends in thought and opinions
- use the obtained knowledge of teaching methods and forms and design educational content
- assess the topicality and relevance of particular trends in thought and argue in favour of their own proposed solution

During the course of their studies, students should follow the study catalogue valid for their year of matriculation. The study catalogues for the individual years of matriculation are available at the Faculty of Arts website.
Diploma theses defence takes the form of a public presentation with a response to the reviewer report and subsequent discussions. The written exam in education and psychology is based on the compulsory courses. At the oral examination, students are asked two questions, one on the theme of humanities and social science basics and one on teaching methodology; the questions correspond to the assigned subject areas which students have available in advance.
