The aim of the study programme is to master theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of pedagogical, psychological, medical-biological and kinanthropological disciplines. The study programme itself develops appropriate pedagogical, communication and professional skills in the graduates.

Graduates will also be able to prepare, implement and evaluate physical and sports programmes for different population groups. Their readiness is guaranteed by kinanthropological, bio-medical and social-theoretical expertise focused on human motor skills and healthy lifestyle support. Their education corresponds with the education of analogous professionals in the EU, and together with appropriate language skills enables them to hold similar posts anywhere abroad.

The Master's degree in physical education teaching contains several types of reflected teaching practice.

Introduction to teaching practice (1 week) is focused on familiarization with the environment of the school, teachers and didactic activities to gain experience of the pedagogical reality.

The goal of Teaching Practice I (3 weeks) and II (two weeks) is to become familiar with primary and secondary schools or administrative practice, deepening their capability to analyse and evaluate the physical education process.

Under the guidance of mentor teachers students prepare and implement various types of lessons and verify and reflect on their pedagogical competence in practice.

The studies are completed by the Master's thesis defence and the final state examination, which includes Pedagogy and Psychology for Teachers, Physical Education Didactics and in the single-subject study either Current Problems of Sport Education (direction Sport Education) or Theory of Strength and Conditioning Coaching (for the programme Strength and Conditioning Coach).
